Two teams on the opposite end of the Big Ten will square off on Saturday when the Indiana Hoosiers travel to take on the Michigan State Spartans.

Indiana comes into the game 1-9, 0-6 in Big Ten play. They are at the bottom of the Big Ten Leaders Division. Michigan State is 8-2, 5-1 in conference play. That puts them at first place in the Big Ten Legends division.

This game will be contested for the Old Brass Spittoon. Indiana hasn't beaten Michigan State since 2006 (the game was not played in 2009 and 2010).

Where: Spartan Stadium. East Lansing, Michigan.

When: Saturday, Nov. 19 at 12 p.m. EST

Betting Line

Michigan State (-28.5), according to Bodog.

The Spartans have battled consistency issues at times this season, so I can understand a little reservation on this one.

But Michigan State is much better than Indiana, and at home. I have to think that they will win and cover.

Key Storyline

Can Michigan State close out the Big Ten Legends division? If they win and Michigan beats Nebraska, the Spartans' ticket will be officially punched into the Big Ten title game.

Who Might Not Play for Indiana

WR Duwyce Wilson, CB Peter St. Fort, K Nick Freeland, T Josh Hager, and RB Darius Willis are out.

S Drew Hardin, WR Cory Latimer, C Will Matte, S Donnell Jones, QB Dusty Kiel, and S Jarrell Drane are questionable.

Who Might Not Play for Michigan State

T Skyler Burkland, NT Antonio Jeremah, S Jarius Jones, and G Zach Hueter are out.

BCS/Top 25 Implications

Michigan State enters at No. 15 in the BCS. A loss to Indiana would certainly drop them in the polls. Indiana is nothing more than a spoiler at this point.

What They're Saying

Michigan State's senior class is on the brink of breaking the wins record, which would better last year's class. According to George Sipple of the Detroit Free Press, that's not lost on Coach Mark Dantonio.

Dantonio said for a second consecutive senior class to break the senior class wins record was significant.

"It's a symbol that this program is not a flash-in-the-pan thing," Dantonio said. "It's something that's starting to occur on a regular basis."

Indiana Player to Watch

RB Stephen Houston. He will need to control the game for the Hoosiers and keep the Michigan State offense off the field.

Michigan State Player to Watch

QB Kirk Cousins. He is the heart of the team. When he does well, the Spartans do well. When Cousins plays poorly, his team plays poorly.

Key Matchup

Houston vs. the Michigan State front seven. There is a lot of talent that Houston will have to find a way to break.

On the Hotseat

Kevin Wilson at Indiana would be the closest thing to being on the"Hotseat." This is only his first year with the team, but they will need to begin to be more competitive in 2012.

Prediction: Michigan State 37, Indiana 6

This is senior night for the Spartans. Indiana may not bring out anyone's top effort or focus, but it won't matter. Michigan State is just a much better team.
